Help me remember the online links that someone once posted for taking in inexpensive women's mini skirts ( about 16 inches) to create cheap below knee girls skirt?

I have bought size 14 children's place flarey above the knee skirts for my size 8 dd .... Taken in the waist with a simple fold and sewed it down.... I am by no means a sewing expert.... And they come out amazing.... You'd never know it was altered at all.... Depends on the type of waistband to some degree.... Stretchy elastic ones work great....

I often take in womens dresses and skirts for DD. I cut down short womens dresses into nice below the knee length skirts. I make a waistband from the part that goes directly below the bust.
