Make mini deli pockets.
Place a square pastry down.
Put some deli in the middle.
Put some honey mustard, plain mustard or ketchup, any condiment you like.
Place another square on top and seal edges with a fork.
Bake 350 until done.

Fill it with Apples, place slice apples, a bit of sugar cinnamon amd water in a bowl over fire and stir till syrupy.. Add more or less sugar and cinnamon according to tase . Spoon onto dough to make turnovers. They come out amazing, better then store bought Apple pie filling.
Then drizzle on it a mixture of confection powder water and a bit of vanilla extract.. Enjoy!!

Thanks everyone! Great ideas! Does anyone have recipes that would work as a side dish or appetizer, like borekas or vegetable turnovers?

You can do pastrami potato turnovers. It's mashed potatoes surrounded by a pastrami slice inside the flaky dough.

Cook potatoes
Saute onions
Mash the potatoes
Add salt and the sauted onions to the potatoes

Lay a flat piece of pastrami on the flaky dough. Add a scoop of potatoes.

Fold over. Smear with eggs. Add sesame seeds

Enjoy!

Thanks for the step-by-step instructions! You forgot to mention step one, to preheat the oven, and later, open the oven, insert the pan, etc. Lol. LOL
All kidding aside, I do appreciate your detailed instructions. I like using recipes so that I know my dish comes out perfect.

Put 1 cherry (from can of cherry pie filling) in the center of each piece of 3" square pastry. Make a slit in each triangular corner of the dough. Pull each corner to the center to form a windmill. Secure with toothpick. Bake until golden. Remove toothpic and dust with confectioner's sugar. Makes a really pretty platter of cookies.
