Looking for places to go for a dress for the kalla. Have been to quite a few places (In Israel) but nothing yet. Would love to get more info. Most places want 3000 shekel plus just to rent. Anything more reasonable? Tried some gemachs but nothing yet.

Chana Studley in Jerusalem rents gowns made by her. They are really pretty and well made.
I know that they were about 1000₪ about a year and a half ago.

Renting and buying a new gown are similar in costs here (unless you are buying a very fancy dress from a local designer).
What part of the country? What kind of dress (? What is your budget? What are your style requirements (sleeve lengths, necklines, etc.)?
Are you looking for something that is wearable as-is or that will require changes (building up the neckline, adding sleeves, etc.)?
What is your timeline?

lace on top chiffon on bottom classy style. I would love to find something as reasonable as possible. The less expensive the better. I would like to pay lower than 3000. There is one dress in mind so can buy a dress as is and add or take away.

Have u tried the gemach on zichron yakov in romema?my niece was very lucky that the lady offered her a dress made to her measure for 1400 as she was interested in the style she wanted.
