Dd (11 months) gets the munchies at around 5 but we eat dinner at 6.
A snack is usually enough to tide her over.
I've given fruit and cheerios but want a few more ideas...

Nurse her? Before 1, the main source of nutrition should be through breastmilk or formula, and not so many solids.

I never heard of holding dinner off for a baby ... if she's hungry at 5 - feed her at 5

It's really just munchies - she doesn't want to nurse or eat a whole meal. She likes eating with us better. She just has a late snack time.
