My life is unmanageable now. How am I supposed to manage purim? What about Pesach? Life is one big mess. It's like doing things over and over to get nowhere for nothing. Right now I HATE YOM TOV!

Don't think about Pesach now.

Think about Purim - what do you need to do - at a minimum.

1.Costumes?
2.Shaloch Manos
3.Seudah

How can you help yourself to feel better? Chocolate bar, setting your sheitel -

are your finances super tight or other things?

It's about LIFE. If I can't deal with life how can I deal with anything, even shabbos.

I don't remember much about what we ate on pesach, or how hard we did or didn't clean before hand. I do remember my mother talking about how much she looked forward to yom tov.

This.

And chicken and rice in one pan and salmon that you stick in the oven with salt, pepper and garlic powder (disposable pans!)
And a bags of frozen veggies.
And spaghetti with store bought tomato sauce

And disposable dishes.

Also:

Costumes that you buy ready from the store and do not upgrade in any which way. (Go alone and choose yourself if the kids are young enough, send the kids alone with a set budget if they are old enough)

MM that include a box of store bought cookies and a bottle of wine/chocolate milk/juice

Pesach cleaning that is closing off 80% of the house.

It's not really about shortcuts. But more about the frustration dealing with things I am in no mood for.
