Can anyone help me with what the options are for a 2 year old in Detroit. Are there 2 year old programs in the preschools or is it only play group options in peoples homes. How long is the day for this age. Do they offer extended hours if a working mother needs a longer day? What are the costs for a preschool type program versus a play group type option. Thank you for your help.

BUMP-No one can give me any info? I am not currently living there so I was hoping for just some general info before I start my major research. Does YBY preschool have a 2 year old program? What are the hours etc?

There are quite a few options. I'm just not sure who would want their info on here...
I'm a bit hesitant to just put everyone's names and info online, sorry.
I know there are many babysitter/daycare options that accept many ages and there are a few 2 year old programs I can think of as well. The YBY preschool begins at 3. There is no daycare option there.
Regular in-home daycare options are in the $4-$5 an hour range. They are usually available 8:30-5 (more or less). The 2 year old programs are half-days I think. I'm not sure about Akiva, but I've heard good things.
