I have to renew my medicaid since I had a baby, and it's due Mid-March, my DH wants to mail it in ASAP, but we haven't received her birth certificate or SSN yet. I'm having a hard time finding the slip from the hospital saying we registered the baby with for a SSN. What are my options?

Can you call your local Medicaid office and explain the situation? Maybe they'll give you an extension.

You can try calling the UJO 718-643-9700. I've found them to be very helpful and muchhhhhh easier to reach than medicaid.

I found the papers from the hospital that say we applied for the baby's birth certificate and SSN. Thanks anyway!
