Does the fast today end at sundown or do we have to wait til after we've heard megillah? Would teenage girls have to wait? I think that would ruin their hearing megillah experience.

I'm sure men hold off because it's read in the middle of maariv ... but you have at least the time to chap a quick bite - especially if someone won't be able to hear megillah properly
the fast officially ends at the emergence of 3 stars which is brooklyn depending on shita is 6:20 to 6:31 & in cleveland 6:51 to 7:02 [look on myzmanim.com for your locale]
