I want to get presents for my best friends who gave birth (one a boy, the other a girl)

Is there anythnig special in Israel that would be nice to bring for them or should I just get a reg ol baby present once I'm in the states already?

Nothing stands out as something that can only be bought in Israel. You can do something embroidered like a towel blanket or bibs but you can even get that in the usa with Hebrew on it. Or you can get Judaica like a cute tzedek box or model ani sign but I know personally I appreciated the practical gifts more.
