I'm looking for a private chef that would come to my house and cook for pesach, did anyone ever do such a thing? How does it work?
Would you recommend someone from Brooklyn

Ruth Bendkowski from Lakewood does this, I believe she advertises she will go in the tri-state area. I don't see her in the phone book I have in front of me, but I will bli neder keep an eye out when the new papers come.

I also saw an ad in one of the women's magazines today but I don't remember which.

You might want recommendations from someone who's used the services of these people, but if you don't get any on here, you can certainly ask the people themselves.

Esther from Estger's delights does this. You could look her up on facebok, or call her direct. I've personally bought food from her in the past, and her stuff is amazing and her prices are rational. 718-614-4342

Naomi Nachman from the 5 Towns is great. Don't know if she does Brooklyn but I imagine it's possible.

Ruth Bendkowski will travel in the tri-state. She has made meals for me for some occasions and goes to ppls houses.

my friend had one. paid $35 per hour plus a cleaning help and preparing all food ordered ready for chef to cook.

I've been doing it for years now. Just for one lady who talked me into it (for the right price). I travel over 2 1/2 hours to get to her. I work for 2 days straight-usually totals close to 24 hours of work. The agreement was originally for $50 hour. She pays me more now. She supplies all the food. Recipes are both of ours. I bring my baking supplies as I find it easier to work with.
