We are thinking of moving to Toronto. Ideally, we would like to move to bathurst/lawrence area and be near the kollel, schools etc, but we can't afford to buy a house there.

Are there any other areas that you would recommend? Where is there a significant frum/black hat population? Thornhill? Thornhill woods? Bathurst & Steeles? Is there anything by Ner Yisroel?

Ideas anyone?

TIA

Good luck- The housing market in Toronto is crazy now! Thornhill is a diverse community with every type. I would recommend renting in a neighborhood for a little bit to get a feel for the area.
