I am making Pesach and have no oven or crock-pot. The only thing I can think of making for Shabbos, instead of cholent, is an overnight potato kugel. I would probably put in meat.
Is there any way to do that on a blech or plata?
Thanks!

You can pour a cup of water on top of the kugel. Wrap well. Put on double boiler. Have boiling water on the blech so that you can add to the double boiler as needed. You will have to babysit it.

You should make the kugel ahead of time. With meat or without.

The foil pan is a good idea. I will try to fry it on the stove first and then keep it over another pot of water,
