If anyone uses a blech on a timer that turns off Friday night and then turns on again Shabbos morning, whose opinion do you rely on? Is there a well known posek that allows it?Thanks so much

I don't have a name but ask your Rav...many, many permit it. I seem to recall (I could be wrong...high school and sem and college halacha classes were many years ago!) that Rav Moshe was NOT into timers on shabbos and although he is a big name, there are definitely big poskim that permit.

Ask your own rabbi, it doesn't really matter what mine says if you don't hold by my rabbi, does it? It's very common practice in my community, the rabbi here does it, my personal rabbi agrees with the practice. I actually can't think of many people who don't permit it.
