A recipe calls for 1 cup egg beaters.. What is that and can I sub for regular eggs?

Yes, just crack eggs into a measuring cup until you reach the 1 cup point, then use.

Among other ingredients. But contains no yolks.

Sorry been super busy.. So it's a recipe for a pizza crust .
Spaghetti squash
Egg beater
Cheese
And seasoning
Mash it all and bake and then add sauce and cheese and toppings

Is it really 1 cup of egg beaters? I have seen many recipes that call for just 1 egg in a crust made out of a whoel spaghetti squash?

Yeah double checked the recipe now it's 4 cups of squash
1 cup egg beaters
And 1 cup of cheese
I've just never heard of egg beaters before ,lol

You can use regular eggs in this recipe. The egg beaters just make it lower fat and lower calorie but if that's not an issue just sub real eggs.

The egg whites bind the dish and the yolks add fat and some taste

In terms of subbing, generally one egg is is equal to a 1/4 cup of egg beaters.
