I am looking to visit aruba some time soon and am wondering about your experience there.
What is there to do? Food?
I will iyh also be bringing children. What is there to do there with kids

I don't think there is chabad there. At least, I didn't find anyone when I went.
Aruba is basically a desert island, where very little food is local. So the big grocery stores have lots of imports, plenty with hechsherim.
Fun stuff includes snorkelng, other ocean stuff, donkey sanctuary, etc.

I haven't been to Aruba, but have spoken to the shulchim and they seemed really sweet.

I'm quite sure there are chabad shulchim there but maybe just during high seasons/holidays. If possible, arrange to get air tickets to neighbouring islands Bonnaire and Curacao (so-called dutch west indies ABC). Curacao has more developed feel and one of the main attraction is the synagogue (one of the oldest in western hemisphere). Bonnaire is less developed with nature reserves for pink flamingos.
