how to stretch a shaitel cap?

has anybody here ever stretched a shaitel cap?
I have a shaitel that is slightly too tight..

Maybe like stretching a shoe? Put it on a sheitel head that is larger than the sheitel cap and leave it on for 2 weeks. Disclaimer: I just made up this method because it sounds like it makes sense. You should really ask your sheitel macher. She should have more professional advice.

I think if you wear it with wet hair it stretches, but I agree with ladybug to speak to sheitelmacher first.

The place you bought it should be able to stretch it.

Was wondering about this and found this thread. Anyone ever tried this? Love the wig but the cap is too small and bothers me every time I wear it :-( don't want to have to give it away.

Make the cap very wet ,
then using wigs t pins stretch it onto your sheitel head,
let it completely dry that way.
it should stretch ( may be done more than once if need be.)
