We are IYH looking to move to monsey. We need to figure out which neighborhood and school is the best match.
So I need your help.
If you know anything about pomono, new city, or chestnut ridge - please share!
Pomono - is it picking up? Is it mostly mo? Or fancier people? Is there chabad there? Any heimeshe open minded types? Is it isolated?
New city - how cut off is it from rest of monsey? Is it picking up? What type is attracted to it? Do neighbors connect or is it isolating? Are there thirteen year old kids there?
Chestnutridge - is it accepting of heimeshe open minded types? Is it worth the price increase to have the neighborhood?
We are by the way heimeshe, frum, open minded and educated.
