I am losing my mind. My 14 month has always been kind of aggressive. He bites, pulls hair, pinches and mostly hits. A lot. He will literally pummel my face with his little hands. When I firmly say no, he laughs. I end up moving away from him, or putting him on the floor if I am holding him, and then I model making nice. Nothing has changed in the past few months. He does not talk, he does not gesture. I believe that he is very frustrated. He is getting speech therapy, and I am taking him to an ENT as he has had frequent ear infections and I think it is impacting his hearing.
It is getting so difficult. He's always kvetching and hitting, and I really don't know what he wants! He's wants me to hold him all the time but then he is just hitting and biting! What do I do?
