I am out of the "baby loop" for a while, and I have no idea what is a good stroller to buy. Most of my neighbors have the bugaboo or uppa baby. I don't want to spend so much money though. One of my neighbors is selling her bugaboo cameleon, used for one child, for $400.00 (really great condition). My husband would rather find a "deal" on a new carriage but I have no idea what to look for. Any recommendations? (Anon because ppl will know me based on this)

britax b ready is very similar to the uppababy, but cheaper. you can get a britax car seat that clicks right in w/o needing an adapter, or you can get an adapter to use with other carseats. you can buy a bassinet for it separately.

I have the mountain buggy cosmopolitan. It's a great stroller. The best part is that the bassinet and the seat is the same piece. No big storage headache.
