I don't think Gavriel was on the list. Its my Ds so I checked. Only Gavriela..but I'll double check.

Remember, that we do not know the reason behind the list. Some of it may have nothing to do with what we think. I can see the changing boys names to girls names and vice versa, but we don't know all of his reasons, and I don't want to go against the advice of a gadol hador.

I would love to see an explanation for the list and understand it better.

Shlomis' issue must be about the lady in Egypt...
Gabriella is so common by Italians, too, among with many feminizations. And even a few masculinizations. In my Beider, I also see some of those, names created davka to name after an opposite gnder passed relative among Ashkenazim.

My Great-Grandmother was a Leola, who really was a Leah, and my cousin was named Liora in her memory. I've run into a decent number of other Lioras in my life, and its a good name. :-)

In my yeshivish oot community, no one has this name. But I think it's really pretty. (im not saying I wouldn't use it bc it's not "frum" enough).

My other kids have pretty typical names like Moshe and Baila. Is it weird to add a more modern sounding name to the mix?

The name would probably be leora Bracha.

I can't answer your quesiton, but it a lovely name.

DS3 is Lior Yisrael.

B'shaa tova, I would guess.
