Does anyone know of a store to buy tsnius nightgowns? Girls sizes are preferable, but since dd wears a girls 14-16, a ladies small or x-small would be fine. The style she likes is like a big oversized t-shirt. I bought for her in the past from a Jewish store, but we moved and aren't so close anymore.

I looked, but I couldn't find anything. I found "old-fashioned" style nightgowns that were tsnius, but aren't something that she will wear. And the ones that are like large t-shirts are either short sleeves or low necklines or not long enough (she's taller than me, but slender enough to still fit better in girls sizes.)

I made one once. Now I buy, but I live in Israel so it's easier. If you know someone who's traveling to a more fertile nightgown area ask them to pics up a few.
I got in Bazaar Strauss. Not all the collars are good though.

No, tznius is not necessary at home for many. Modesty is, which would allow the short sleeves.
FTR I also have problems finding for myself modest, not babyish, not old ladyish, not tee shirty or very casual nightgowns. OUAT it was so easy.

At home she'll wear shorter, etc., but when she sleeps at her friend's house, she wants to be tsnius.
She likes the Pistachio ones, so I'll get her that. Thanks so much everyone.

I love getting Lanz of Salzburg nightgowns for my girls. There is one style, tyrolean something, that is matching for adults and kids in blue or red flowers and hearts. It is so cute and I love matching my girls! They also get a kick out of matching :-)
