I usually chop them into fries or discs and toss with oil, salt, and garlic powder.

Are you serving each person half a sweet potato?

I like them baked, plain. (Scrub them, poke a few holes and stick them into the oven for an hour or so). My kids like "fries". Peel and dice them and roast on high temp with oil and spices.
Another idea I heard from someone, but didn't try: Peel them, put them through the food processor on shred and freeze. Then you can pull them out as needed for soups or other recipes.

My kids love them baked this way: scrub each potato. Poke with fork all over. Wrap each potato in tin foil. Put several wrapped potatoes in a tin pan and bake until soft. They are so sweet and the juices caramelize. Yum!

I have a recipe that you roast cubed sweet ppotato and mix with sweet chili sauce and toasted cashews. Yum.

Season with cumin, garlic powder, black pepper and kosher salt. Roast uncovered on a flat cookie sheet at 400 for about 40 minutes.

Yum, that sounds delicious!
Yes, I roast it on around 400 uncovered until crisp.
You can also cube then and bake in the same dish as chicken for a one- pan meal. I like to put a layer of onions on the bottom of a pan, add chicken spiced with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika, add cubed sweet potatoes and pour cranberry sauce on top. Bake covered for around two hours. I serve this Friday night.

Fresh lime juice. Can add salt, brown sugar and chili powder if you want as well.

I usually cut them into fries. Sometimes cubes or rounds.

We eat sweet potatoes with almost everything!
When it's the 'showcased' main, I wash, poke, and foil-wrap them, bake them @400 for about an hour or more. When they're done, I split it lengthwise, sprinkle with salt, and top with broccoli and shredded mozzarella. You can add tuna on top or on the side for protein. YUM!
