585 is gold but fewer carats than 750
I just sold some pieces last week.
You need someone honest to have it weighed. And check gold prices online because some places offer very little money!

You should try getting more than 1 opinion before selling, so that you dont feel cheated.
You can try selling it yourself and save on the broker fee
