I am trying to help my non-Jewish nanny find an apartment. She has been staying in her church, but the church needs the space for summer programs and come June she will have no place to go. She needs a one bedroom apartment (though bigger would be better for her, because it is her and her two daughters) in any neighborhood in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens or the Bronx. Ideally she would love to find a basement apartment in someone's house or something like that, because she cannot afford more than $1000 a month. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
