I work in a professional environment, but one in which no one really notices or cares what I wear. Still, for my own sake I like to look professional. I'm b"H expecting, and really not looking forward to a summer in tights. At home I'll be wearing a maxi skirt all the time, but I really want to wear one to work! Is there any way to make a maxi skirt look professional?
For reference, I usually wear a sweater and pencil skirt during the winter and a nice t-shirt (tailored, with some design to it) and skirt during the summer.

You cqn still wear a shortish t shirt out with this skirt and an open blazer or a short open cardigan.
Also an empire waist maxi dress would look good, if you could find something that is a solid color amd doesn't require a shell.

I agree with a solid color maxi skirt, tucked out crew neck and a blazer to top it off.
A maxi dress with a cardigan and a neck scarf to finish it off would look lovely as well.
