Hi,
Does anyone know any nut-free cheder in Monsey? I prefer Chasidish, but will send him to any good cheder if they are strictly nut-free. Still trying to get my other (non-allergic BH) child's cheder to become nut-free, but need to consider other places as well..... I was told YSV is nut free. Any others?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure almost all of them are nut free today. I know that even satmar does not allow nuts in the cheder. That being said, I do not know how strict the rebbes are about making sure the children's snacks do not contain nuts. I also asked someone in the food business and he confirmed that he believes most are nut free. You can just call up the administration of the chedarim you are interested in, or have your husband do it if that's more comfortable for you, and ask what they do to ensure a nut-free, allergy safe environment (and for what ages).
