Maybe some homeschoolers would best be able to answer this question, but I didn't want to post it in the homeschooling forum in case someone in the broader audience knows.
I want my kids to learn real Hebrew. We are considering Aliyah sometime but even before that, I think it would be good for them to learn it as a language. They go to a BY type school that teaches a lot of Hebrew words but they're not really learning it as a language. I've tried doing a little teaching at home but I'm not super successful so far, also not that fluent myself, and would love for them to have something more structured.
I don't know of any classes locally. I have heard of online schools/classes for homeschoolers or people in non-Jewish schools. Does anyone know of one that has a really strong good Hebrew class for very young children?

In general the school starts at five years old, unless someone is getting tutored (hard for younger than that to sit)
I don't know the details of the Hebrew class I just remember one of the teachers telling me that she tutored two sisters, and I remember within a few months the mom was thrilled with how far they got (6&9 year old maybe?) but tutoring is more expensive of course. That tutor also taught the Hebrew class.
