I have frozen and it was fine..
can't remember if I did a/t special when defrosting it though.. (also I made it, froze it and then only decorated it (topping etc) right before yom tov)

cheese cake freezes so well-after serving you can refreeze the leftovers over and over always tastes fresh

If it's just cream cheese and eggs should be fine. If it has farmers cheese it might get piecey but should still taste fine.

Let it cool very well in the refrigerator so it's solid when you wrap for freezing. I try to wrap very well so it doesn't get freezer burn or pick up other flavors since cheesecake is such a delicate flavor. I use Saran Wrap and then tin foil.

Unwrap before defrosting and I don't put the fruit or glaze on until I'm ready to serve.

No you cannot freeze cheesecake!!! You can send it to me, and I will make sure that there are no leftovers ch"v.

(I live OOT and cheesecake can't be bought localy, so I've frozen store-bought cheesecake every year for Shavuos, and it's been delicious and not soggy every time.)

Mine gets creamier and smoother after I freeze it. I made some last week, it was piecy a s watery. I froze it , then it perfected itself. It was delicious half frozen!
