Wifi in the catskills?

I am going to a bungalow colony for a few weeks this summer and I will need to bring along a personal wifi router so I can work while I am there (need access to work email, etc).
What carrier has good reception in the mountains?

When I was at the Raleigh, I had a really hard time with service (I use Sprint)-- kept dropping calls. Everyone was like, "Oh Sprint service is terrible in the mountains! "-- I did not know that-- my days as a kid in a bungalow were over before everyone had cell phones!

So what carrier is okay for service?

The general consensus seems to be that Verizon has the most reliable and wide-spread service in the Catskills, though if possible, it would be good to check with somebody in the particular colony where you'll be staying since coverage can vary.

If ull be in ur own bungalow (ie not in a hotel) then the cheapest and best option is to go with cable... time Warner cable... I've been thru this for the past three yrs and everything came out more expensive than cable.
Just make sure to call them on time to set up a appt for installation because they tend to become very bz...
