Please recommend a good sauce for a tongue.
I have onions and garlic sauteeing on the stove now.
No mushrooms please.

I just made this.
saute 1 onion
3/4 c. ketcup
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
little lemon juice
1 tsp. soy sauce
little cherry herring liquer optional
boil & pour over meat

Thanks.
I sauteed onion and garlic. Added tomato sauce and some soy sauce and vinegar.
I don't think I can go wrong. Tongue is so good...
