Is this something that happens when the children begin school, because I've never had that problem with my dc.

OP, why not Raintree? It sounds perfect for you (except the new construction part, but I've seen ads for some new blocks going up).

Husband doesn't want there. But we will keep it in mind if need be. I happen to like that community.
