We are renting a car online for Denver and Seattle and would like to know if it makes sense to pay for the extra insurance. We live in Israel but will be paying with a US credit card (mastercard)

Do you have US car insurance?
From what I remember the credit card will only pay for damage to the cars not medical expenses, but if you have US car insurance it will usually cover that
