Hi,
What are some boys name for Shavous? is Yona an option or does it have to be Yonason which we don't love. I am having a hard time finding some that I like..

Matan, as someone said. It is a lovely name.
Yishay and David. Nachshon and Aminadav are also great names from Megillath Ruth.
Boaz is obvious. So is Elimelech. There's also Goel, if you're Sephardi. Noam for Naomi and for the darchey noam of Torah. Ori for Orayta which is Torah.
There's also the agricultural, Chag Hakatzir aspect of Shavuot and that invites other types of names like Omer and Bar.
