I am applying for WIC in NY and they told me over the phone that myself and kids need to go to dr and get hemoglobin print. I used to live in NJ and there they checked iron at the apmt. Am I misunderstanding them or is that the process in NY?

Speak to the WIC department @ Yeled V'yalda. They will walk you through the process.

Why don't you go to your kids' pediatrician?
Any dr will probably not do it if you're not their patient
