My sheitel is a bit thin (not too thin, but I would like a thicker look). Someone told me that if I want to add hair to my sheitel, not to wait until it needs it. So my question is, is it a good idea to add hair slowly over time? I don't want a thick sheitel, so doing little by little may help me control how much hair gets sewn in. In addition, every time I bring in my sheitel to be washed, hairs naturally get ripped out. I would like to add a small amount of hair over time to prevent bald spots. Is this a good idea or will adding hair kill the sheitel?
How often do people add hair to a sheitel?
I had asked on here in the past about adding hair and someone responded saying that it is money well spent because it can prolong the life of the sheitel.
