I need a new hot pot for Shabbat and Yom Tov - our pump pot has died. We are in the US. Any advice/experience/etc?

TIA and Shabbat Shalom.

What do you mean by hot pot?

I own this pot and like it:

All stainless.
Has a switch permitting refilling on YomTov.
Also has a simple to operate child safety lock.

Here is a new product that looks really intriguing:

I's a samovar — has a little teapot that sits on its flat top for holding tea essence. Or you could reheat a kugel on the flat top.
UL approved — that's a significant safety "hechsher."
Also Machon Tzomet approved — a significant Shabbos use hechsher.
Unclear whether this unit is aluminum or stainless.
Not sure whether this unit requires toiveling.
Great price on Amazon right now.

I have this pot (though I bought it locally and paid a lot less than Amazon has it for) and do not see any child lock for the spigot; in fact there are questions in the Amazon listing asking about that and all the answers say that there is not a lock for the spigot. That is a big downside for me for when my kids are here. Have you found a way to actually lock the spigot or are you referring to the lock for the lid?

I'm referring to the lid lock. Best "lock" for the spigot is to turn the pot so the spigot is hard to access.
