baby boy is due in a few weeks iyh, and we are thinking of making the vachnacht in our huge backyard. My house is too small for the amount of people that are expected to come. Were actually tenants and will need to ask our single landlord for permission. She most likely will agree. But I think its too much involved. Are tables and chairs enough? Or must there be a tent? Of course well do it only if weather is just perfect. Please share your ideas and thoughts.

I definitely would, but only if I have a good indoor alternative in case of bad weather. Unless you plan on setting up a tent? I love garden parties, sounds awesome for a vachnacht.

I love outdoor events. We planned a sheva brochus in our porch and had to bring it indoors because of bad weather.
Op go for it of you can.

We did it last year. No tent. We picked up some torches and placed them in the ground filled with tiki oil as misquote repellents. It was beautiful! The weather was perfect and the atmosphere was amazing. Mazel tov.
