How to salvage my kokosh cake?

I baked kokosh cake and seemed to have put too little filling, thus it's a bit on the dry side.
Anyone have any suggestions how to make it more moist?

Make a good sour cream topping.
Slice it , put it in a pan and pour another mixture of filling on top and bake until heated through.
