The father of my good friend, also a colleague of my mother's for 30+ years, was hit by a car on the Upper West Side and is in critical condition. It is a very dire situation, so please daven for him Moshe Shlomo ben Surah Toba!

Only thing I've heard is to keep davening. I forgot he is from Cali. I've also known him my whole life. My mother is also an artist and they have worked on countless things together. I grew up playing with his kids.

Also note after they get back, they are only sitting in NY until Wednesday. They will be completing the Shiva in LA.
