My daughter came home with a note today that she needs to bring a show n tell about recycling for tomorrow. Something for the girls to do.
Your ideas would be appreciated. I'm limited in time since she needs to take it to school tomorrow.

You can send in an empty cardboard snack box or plastic bottle.
The bottle can be cut in half, covered with construction paper and other decorations, and wham it's a usable container for pens, crayons, flowers, whatever. Same with the box. It can be used to store paper or books, or other objects.

Take a used can, wash it out, make sure there are no sharp edges. Cover with paper and decorate. Voila! A pen and pencil holder.

Take an empty shoe box with lid. Cut some circular holes in the lid and a rectangle stripe hole.
This can be used as a desk organizer. Small squares of papers in the rectangular hole for notes. Pens and pencils in the round holes.

Any container can be a planter. Just poke holes and fill with dirt.
