has anyone ever had experience with how to prepare for a tornado watch, with a chance of turning into a tornado warning as Shabbos is coming? How do you stay informed once you have to shut off electronics?

Do you have a radio you can keep on for Shabbat. My cell phone gets an emergency warning that is not a regular ring but more like a very annoying ring in an emergency You can see if you have a service lime that in your community

Keep a radio on somewhere at a low volume that won't bother you, where you can go in to hear the updates.

You can also keep your cell phone on. I've gotten emergency messages when there've been weather warnings in the area. It's a very loud and unique beep.
