My ds who is 12 has been suffering from chronic back pain since he was 10. I took him to a top doctor in Manhattan. They did blood work, xrays, MRI and PT everything came out fine...but he still suffers. He is athletic and he says sometime his back goes numb, its stiff...he tries cracking it to relieve the pain but nothing works. I'm always massaging his back, he says that helps..but he constantly needs relief...he is too young to suffer like this! Any advice?

I thought about it. Did you ever go to one and have a positive experience...how do they differ from physical therapists?
