We're at the hospital with our baby and there is ardmore apple juice with a symbol I don't recognize. There's a capital H with a V inside it and a little K on top.
I gave to my baby. Does anyone know if this apple juice is OK?

It's the New England Beit Din. We always ate it in when I lived in the States.

It is the same organization that gives the hechsher on Kellogg's cereals. In past years it was said that one needed to deal with it product by product to determine if it should be used, but I have heard that in more recent terms it has become more reliable. You really should call your local Rav or Vaad (both the cRc and Star-K are very accessible by phone) to be sure.

Please call a rav. There are leniencies for at hospital and after birth as well as any stranded sitch.
