Separate your laundry based on clothes you want to hang vs a load that can all be thrown in the dryer. I usually do my hang loads earlier in the day when I have more coach and time, not during supper, baths and bedtime that's when I do my just throw it all in the dryer load!!

When baking, line pans with parchment paper. When done, if there are no holes, put in freezer and reuse when baking the same item. Makes washing pans much easier.

Teach kids to make beds every sngle morning so they get into the habit. Make kids clean up every single night. It keeps the house more pleasant in evenings when they are in bed. Reward them with an allowance every week.

When having to decide what to do with all the cute little projects and pictures that your kids make that continue to pile up (and deteriorate), take a picture, say goodbye, and then throw away. Otherwise they will continue to pile up and cause your house to feel cluttered.

Take one task at a time. Make a list of your "need to do" and your "want to do"- start with the needs and then go to the wants. Figure out what can be pushed off (on those hectic days) and what absolutely must get done (and all the steps we need to do to get that done). Eg: we still have towels but Dovid needs socks. Dinner must be cooked, so go to store.

Make lists! Of everything! Every yom tov. Every event. Who you gave MM to, who gave you, what you should buy for Pesach (as you find on sale obviously) and what you definitely did not need.

Make a schedule. Write all things down. One master list for everything you are responsible for. Kids appointments, play dates, doctor visits, family events, school, work. Never make an appointment or play date without consulting it. Carry it with you and use it! I like ones with time slots to make it simple as to when you have free time. Don't forget to budget for travel time!

Always keep an extra on hand. Of all consumables. open the last bottle of detergent? Add it to the list to buy before you need it. Nothing is worse than having time to do a load but no soap and the baby is napping.

When feeling overwhelmed by having to clean very messy rooms, first take a shopping bag and walk through the rooms and collect all the garbage. Then take another bag for the next catergory- for example, dirty laundry the kids left lying around the living room (or does this only happen to me?) This way you are not running back and forth every time you pick up garbage, laundry, etc.

WD40, best cleaner of sticky residue from tape. Great for after Pesach when you take off the tape from the cabinets.

I'm not eligible to win a free Balabusta's Daily Organizer (hey, I co-produce it!) but here's my tip:

Add "padding" to your schedule — add a little time to your estimates for every task and errand, and then when life or traffic doesn't always proceed according to what you predicted, you won't be frazzled trying to play catch-up.

All from pinterest but this is how I'm setting up my kitchen in apt we just moved into -
Hang clear shoe organizer over pantry door to store things.
Cut hanging shoe organizer in half and hang over cabinet under the sink.
Install magazine wall racks on inside of cabinet door to store cutting board.
Under the shelf hanging wire basket to store plastic container lids
Saw this in a cookbook non jewish) - hang 2 wooden napkin holders under the cupboard to create a slot for the cutting board

Also, bc my oven has no exhaust fan over it, I have a double window fan facing the outdoors so it blows all the grease from cooking hopefully right out the window. I've seen splatter screens to cover pot or pan each time you cook but I can't figure out how many to have for meat and dairy lol so never bought yet

When packing I like to pack each outfit into a gallon ziploc bag (roll tight to prevent wrinkles) this means it's vacuum packed, wrinkle free and easy to find complete outfit. Did it all thoughoit seminary especially when traveling for a week like sukkos or chanukah, and again when I toured Europe. Such a breeze. I can see either being really useful for kids if you write their name and day on it, then they can get dressed themselves - everything in one bag, socks underwear etc and they just have to throw whatever they're wearing into designated laundry bag

Keep litttle (pretty) garbage cans and hampers in all bedrooms. Keep mini garbage in play room and on porch so kids put all wrappers etc. away.

Keep a toilet brush(in decorative holders)and toilet cleaner( only if there are no little kids) , and clorox wipes under the sink in each bathroom. If you walk in and things are a little messy, it only takes a minute to clean!

To help with the clean up after breading, line all your plates and bowls that you will be using with saran wrap. then when you are done just simply throw away the saran wrap and voila you're left with clean dishes.

Having a hard time remembering what each doctor/specialist said about which kid? Have a folder/binder with dividers so you can easily access each kids report. Scribble down what they said at each appointment.

think outside the box - sometimes the plastic goods are better stored in the pantry and food is better stored in kitchen cupboards.

Your freezer is your best friend...
Freeze cleaned raw chicken in portions along with the appropriate sauce so its ready to bake
Freeze batches of fried onions. Always fry more than you need
Freeze cut up veggies in ziplocs for stir fries. Cut an extra pepper when you are cutting one for kids and keep adding it to the pepper bag
Freeze an "extra" of anything you are making

Your crockpot is also your best friend...
Chicken/meat/stew/chili/buffalo wings/soups and even cake or yogurt can all be made in the crockpot. Dont be afraid to utilize it and mazimize your time if you cant be home 2 hours before dinner to prepare.

No more socks without a pair. Safety pin them together before they go in the hamper. Keep the safety pins on the hamper or next to it. After laundering, I don't even fold them...in the drawers still pinned.

To keep from using new drinking glasses constantly, everyone can put a colored "drink band" on their glass. I got mine from http://www.drinkbands.com/. Icy cold water tastes better in a glass than a paper cup.
