My baby has a bubble in back of his head near the ear lobe area in the skin. I am very worried. What can it be?

Any time you are very worried, you should call your pediatrician.
Does your baby seem uncomfortable, fussy, or at all different?

He is always fussy and never happy. Nothing changed. It feels like a bubble. I am hoping it's fluid. I just switched pediatricians and I don't updated insurance for the new office yet

Call anyway. It couldn't hurt. Maybe a nurse can give you some guidance.

If you are very worried, go see your pediatrician. How long has it been there?

Is it a lymph node? If so, as long as it's not too big, it can be normal. Or might be an infection. But have it checked out by an actual doctor.

Does it feel like a small ball underneath the skin? Sounds like a lymph node. Does your baby have cradle cap or eczema? Your lymph nodes are there to fight infection. He may have a small virus/cold/cradle cap and the lymph nodes are doing their job. My baby has cradle cap and he's had prominent lymph nodes behind both ears for months. Not a concern at all as per his doctor.
