To all the balabustas out there: I got some duvet covers for my kids at IKEA. They were great prices etc but didn't have any zippers or anything to close at the bottom.
So I don't have to reinvent the wheel...what's the best way to close them? I was thinking to sew snaps inside (I can do that myself as opposed to putting in zippers or buttons). Have you done it? What size? Or any other ideas you think are better?
TIA

We used these. You don't even sew: you position them where you want them on both halves of the fabric, place on a board, or on a thickly folded towel on the floor, and hit firmly with a hammer - the snap is installed. (I don't think you could remove it without puncturing the fabric.) Then make sure the other half is in the right position. It took a few minutes per duvet cover, really easy.
