Can I use beans after they have been soaking 36hrs?

I started soaking my beans on Wednesday night. I got busy today and didn't make my chulent. Can I still use them?

I always soak the beans for lots of hours, but I change the water every so often so it's not too murky... I guess if you check them and they look fine I might use them...
