Going with dh to Israel, we have a place in Yerushalayim that we will be based out of but need somewhere to stay in north and south so we can tour there. North (Tsfat preferably) 1-2 nights, south (Eilat/Masada/Ein Gedi area) also 1-2 nights.

Recommendations for a couple? Not expensive and doesn't have to be anything fancy. Literally just a place to park ourselves.

TIA

ETA: I'm basically assuming that any other destination is drivable to/from Yerushalayim ie any other city can be a day trip? Or is there a city far enough away that is worth it to visit and stay over there? (we're there for several weeks with a car. also I've "done Israel", dh has never been.)

Edited to be anon bc idk who is on here that I know IRL

Eilat is a long way south of both Masada and Ein Gedi- the latter two are doable as day-trips from Yerushalayim. Do check the weather before you plan trips to either of those spots- I think there was at least one death and several hospitalizations of hikers between those two sites in one heat wave so far this year, mostly American tourists from what I remember.

I haven't visited any of them in several years, I hope someone else can give you an apartment or hostel recommendation!
