I took my 4 year old son for a dental checkup and the dentist said she sees two adult teeth under the gums as well as a third tooth in the middle. She said not to worry unless it interferes with the growth of the others and it'll just come in and fall out or will have to be removed by an oral surgeon. Anyone have experience with this? TIA

so interesting. I just heard about it happening to someone I know. two front teeth fell out and three grew in. the dentist just removed the extra tooth. he said it can happen.
I don't have personal experience in this matter but figured I'd post anyway so u can know that your son isn't the only one out there with extra teeth!

I don't actually remember this myself, but my mother has told me that I had extra teeth removed by a dentist when I was little.
