So...we are flying from Israel to New York [about 12 hours] , staying in New York for 12 hours and we need to drive into a city there to meet someone and hour away, then driving back to the airport [1 hour] then getting on another plane and flying to LA [about 6 hours]. Then we drive to my In-laws, about 45 minutes away from the airport. I am flying with a 1 year old and a 4 year old, my pregnant belly and nausea, and my wonderful husband.
I think my 4 year old will sleep fine, but my baby is more sensitive to sleeping well, and he will be on one of our laps the whole flight.
Any ideas about how am I going to survive?

On our most recent trip with a 4 year old, I bought a lot of stuff, and slowly took it out. Alternate between activity, sitting quietly, snack. Things I brought: individually packages snacks (cookies, chips), pipe cleaners and cheerios, stickers, those scratch off papers with colorful print under the black, removable stickers with interesting background pictures
